விளையாட்டும் அரசியலும் ஒன்றோடு ஒன்று பின்னிப் பிணைந்தவை. அது தமிழர்களின் அரசியலிலும் சரி அல்லது மேற்கத்தைய நாடுகளின் அரசியலிலும் சரி, விளையாட்டினைப் புறக்கணித்தும் அல்லது நாடுகளின் அணிகளைத் தடை செய்தும், தமது எதிர்ப்பினை வரலாற்றில் காட்டி உள்ளார்கள்.
